Your Cinco de Mayo? Booked.

text

Hecho Postcard-01-1 No plans for Cinco de Mayo? Now you do. Tacolicious presents our third annual HECHO EN SAN FRANCISCO, a party that celebrates the best of Mexican food and drink made right here in our fair city. Proceeds go to two of our favorite food-forward institutions: CUESA and La Cocina.

Just like last year, attendees will sample their fill of handcrafted tequila cocktails and tasty antojitos made by friends of Tacolicious, including Don Pistos, Nopalito, El Buen Comer, Don Buguito (bug tacos!), and La Torta Gorda. But unlike last year, you’ll also get a chance to learn how to make queso fresco and salsa, as well as hand-press tortillas. Raffle prizes? Try tequila flights from Herradura, cooking classes at La Cocina, and a chance to win a visit to a tequila distillery in Mexico.

Time and place: 1 pm to 5 pm at the Ferry Building under the south arcade.
Price: $55 gets you all you can eat and drink.

For a complete list of the 19 participants (restaurants, tequila, and beer) and to buy your tickets, go to Eventbrite.
